Pure authentic Cypriot food. It's just like food should taste. Food is prepared the traditional way. Service is top, nothing refused, staff and locals are genuinely friendly. We were offered birthday cake by a family celebrating
I like it. Traditional Cyprus food and a traditional style Cypriot restaurant. We visit Costaris frequently traveling all the way from the North because it's not easy to find such an authentic restaurant that hasn't been influenced by outside styles of cuisine. Well done for staying true to tradition.
Nice authentic greek restaurant in the countryside with parking. Plenty of seats, we had the kleftico with potatoes it was slow cooked and fell off the bone. A big village salad ,bread,a really nice hot dinner the staff were friendly and jokey the lady that cooks the kleftico has been doing the same job for 42 yrs I hope there training someone up.
We took the kleftiko ( lamb in the oven with potatoes), the grilled halloumi (two pieces) and a horiatiki salad. Everything had been amazing and the lamb was coming off the bone and lamb melts in your mouth. We will definitely come back in our next visit,
One of the finest kleftiko in Cyprus, if not the best. The staff is very welcoming and the food very tasty. Reasonable prices. Highly recommended!
Best kleftiko we had until now, cooked to perfection! The meat was excellent, without excess of fat, well done cooked and tender together! The potatoes were fresh and tender, perfectly cooked also! Fresh village salad with local ingredients! Delicious homemade tahini! Good quality souvlakia and sheftalia! Friendly and quick service also! They treated us with Cyprus traditional sweets also! Their glass of wine (for 4 euros!) was very good wine (Veloudo Constantinou!)
Been serving good food CONSISTENTLY for 35+ yes. Obviously his famous kleftiko is simply brilliant. The best I've ever had. Anywhere.. Somehow no other place gets it this good. Real charcoal is used for grilled foods and so it really is a traditional tavern that has kept its quality over the years which is not so common. It has always been busy so book a table..
We visit this place every year. There is a big menu with great variety of choice but all locals go for the same old dish, OFTO KLEFTIKO + cold beer. Big portions, top quality food, good service and the price is relatively good comparing other OFTO joints. Fully recommended and will surely be visiting them again.
